“We are Mohammed and Fadwa from Gaza. Before the war, we had a beautiful home where we lived happily, but the war destroyed everything, and now we’re living in a small tent. Life in the tent is very hard, and we can’t sleep or eat well.
Fadwa just gave birth to our first baby in October 2024, but basic necessities like formula and diapers are extremely scarce and expensive. We need at least $600 per month to cover our baby’s basic needs.
Additionally, I have suffered from a hepatitis infection, which caused me to lose 16kg and left me with constant bone pain. My family needs me, and I need medicine to regain my health.

After about a month in a makeshift tent, Mohammed Ali’s family finally returned to their old apartment once the area was deemed safe.
Now, they face another crisis: the £450 rent is due August 25 — just 10 days away. With commission fees, the total needed is about £610.
In the tent, baby Nagy cried constantly from hunger, heat, and painful insect bites. The stress and malnutrition caused both parents Mohammed and Fadwa to lose even more weight. If they can’t pay the rent, they will be forced back into those same harsh conditions.

ムハンマドはガザで0歳のナギくんと妻を守るため、連日35℃以上の灼熱の中を数時間歩き続けて食料を探していますが、最近は見つからない日がどんどん増えてきたそうです。
しかも物価は暴騰し、砂糖は1kg180ドル、小麦粉は30ドルと信じられない値段です！！
彼は家族を優先するために、自分はほとんど食べていないようで、戦争が始まってからこれまでに体重は20kg以上減りました。
周囲には道ばたで動けなくなった人、骨のように痩せた子ども、水を求めて意識のない高齢者の姿もあるそうです。
「いつ自分がああなるか…毎日が不安だ」と彼は吐露します。
現在は1日1食栄養補助のピーナッツペースト1袋でしのいでいるようです。ひどい日はそれすら手に入りません。
ガザではすでに100人以上が餓死しています。これは「戦争」ではなくイスラエルによる「人為的な飢餓」です。

To protect his baby son Nagi and his wife, Mohammed walks for hours every day under scorching heat over 35°C in search of food. But now, there are more and more days when he comes back empty-handed.
Prices have skyrocketed — sugar costs $180 per kilo, and flour $30.
He prioritises his family and eats almost nothing himself. Since the war began, he has lost more than 20kg.
He says he now sees people around him collapsing in the streets, children with skeletal frames, and elderly people unconscious from thirst.
“I don’t know when I’ll become like them,” he confides. “Every day, I’m afraid.”
Right now, he is surviving on just one packet of nutritional peanut paste a day. On worse days, not even that.
Over 100 people have already starved to death in Gaza. This is not a “war” — it is deliberate starvation by Israel.

Right now, the entire population of 2.1 million people in Gaza are facing long-term food shortages. Around 500,000 people are classified as being in IPC Phase 5 — the most extreme level, facing catastrophic hunger, acute malnutrition, starvation, illness, and death.
As starvation worsens, weakened bodies may be unable to absorb nutrients, and people can die even after eating. Combined with water shortages, unsanitary conditions, and compromised immunity, the risk of deadly infections becomes overwhelming.
Just recently, over 100 international NGOs — including MSF and Oxfam — issued an emergency statement warning that mass starvation is unfolding and strongly condemned Israel’s blockade and obstruction of humanitarian aid.
This is one of the worst hunger crises in the world today.
